After being 2 1/2 hour delayed leaving Bahrain, I finally made it to Kathmandu. Dawa Chhiri Sherpa, head Sherpa, met me at the airport and took me back to his place. I was introduced to the rest of his family, including the rest of the Sherpa team. They were all happy to finally meet me. After repacking some of the equipment and enjoying some local traditions, it was nice to finally take a shower and relax a few hours at the hotel. Here I also met up with an other Norwegian expedition called "Hamar til topps". They will be joining up on my way into Tibet and climb the north side of Mt. Everest. Now I'm back at the hotel trying to prepare for tomorrow's challenges.
